SAVE LENNOX

22nd December 2011, As innocent Lennox spends yet another Christmas away from his family locked up in a cold concrete cell with saw dust covered floor his family and hundreds of thousands of global supporters, campaigners and celebrities wait patiently for news of whether the Northern Ireland judicial system will grant another appeal and this time actually listen to real experts other than those over paid to say what they have been told to say and who are clearly not experts in any sense. Judge Rodgers took time to consider whether another appeal should or should not be given to Lennox after Lennox’s legal team lodged points of law with the Northern Ireland courts stating various points where Judge Rodgers may have failed to exercise all options put before him before he handed down his death sentence to gentle Lennox . Many people believe that the case against Lennox and his family is now out of the hands of Belfast City Council when in actual fact Belfast City Council could drop their case against gentle Lennox and his family at any time therefore ending the courts sentencing and prosecution of a much loved family pet and his disabled twelve year old owner.

On 16th September 2011 Belfast County Court judge Henry Rodgers agreed with the BCC dog wardens and ordered that Lennox be destroyed.

In one last ditch attempt to save Lennox a request has been made to the trial judge to state a case for the opinion of the Court of Appeal on a purported point of law.

The judge is now considering this request and at the present time there is no date set for his final decision, so the fight continues.......

LENNOX MUST GO HOME TO HIS FAMILY WHERE HE BELONGS!!

Latest message from his family:

Lennox is still alive, but he is still in the BCC's care, well if you can call it care. Judge Nixon did place a destruction order on Lennox on the 29th March 2011, but because I am appealing the decision, nothing can happen to Lennox. So he is still alive but we still have not been allowed to visit him or even know if he has had his annual booster. Other than trying to hurt us further I don't know why the BCC will not even tell us about his basic care and veterinary needs.

Lennox is a loveable 5 year old family member. He's an American Bull dog Labrador cross that we have owned since he was a little pup. As responsible dog owners that also foster for numerous Northern Ireland dog shelters we had Lennox as a young pup Micro chipped, Neutered, DNA Registered, Pet Safe Registered, Insured and Licensed every year with the Council without fail.

On Wednesday the 19th May 2010 he was taken from our family home by Belfast City Council as they believe he falls under the dangerous dogs act for Northern Ireland. The Council, without seeking any proper professional guidance declared Lennox to be a breed of "Pit Bull Type" and so they wish to kill him simply because he has the appearance of said breed. The Belfast City Council took Lennox from his loving family home using a wrongly addressed warrant and using copyright ADBA (American Dog Breeders Association) breed standards guide which the Council were never authorised to use, in doing so the Council broke international copyright laws and for doing so have recently been issued with a 'Cease & Desist' order from ADBA Inc.

Lennox has never attacked anyone or anything yet the Council have removed him from his home where he lives with my Husband, myself, our 11 year old disabled Daughter, his kennel mate Juicy a 2 year old female boxer and various foster dogs. Belfast City Council are pressuring our family to sign him over to them to be destroyed however we feel the need to fight his case, he cannot speak but we will be his voice! If this was a human we would declare this racism. We ask every kind hearted compassionate person for your support, don't let them murder him. This may be our dog today but it could be your best friend tomorrow!

Please visit Lennox's main website for further ways in which you can help.

Thank you for your continued support.
