POLLY
Pretty Polly is a Boxer Cross and is about 11 months old. She has big dark eyes and knows how to use them well! Once she gets to know and trust you she is very affectionate. Polly is full of energy and will need an energetic family who will continue her training , teaching her how to keep calm and not get too stressed by the world. Polly has been spayed and has undergone a full behaviour assessment. This has shown Polly to be a nervous girl , who needs to learn confidence with new situations and when around unknown dogs. Polly can be quite vocal with new dogs, usually with excitement and frustration and this is being worked on , so that she doesnt scare off any potential new doggie friends. Polly currently lives in a home where she is learning the ropes and living with a rottie and a toy poodle. Pollys foster folk say she is very affectionate and loves her cuddles. She is responding well to being in a home. Polly will need a home without cats or with hardcore cats who dont mind a few tom and jerry chase scenes! It would be lovely for Polly to be settled in her forever home, where she and her new family could learn together. She would suit a family experienced with energetic dogs. Update: Polly remains in her foster home but is very ready to move on. We are not sure why she is still with us, but perhaps it is because she is not such a large dog, more a medium size bundle. Polly is very affectionate with people and with introductions, can live with other dogs. She still needs help with her confidence, as unknown dogs and some situations can scare her. However, she is bright and willing and with the right caring family will be a star!
