URGENT APPEAL FOR HELP
APPEAL TO STAY OPEN
REASON FOR COUNCIL WISHING TO CLOSE US DOWN
Development is considered to be intrusive and therefore visually harmful to the character and appearance of the countryside and rural landscape hereabouts, including the natural beauty of the designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the scenic quality and distinctive character of the designated Special Landscape Area, to the detriment of visual amenity
Development has a significant adverse impact on the amenities of the occupiers of nearby residential property.
Development results in the potential for increased highway safety
What LBDR have to say on this
The kennels are at a team members house, the team member is Sharon Farrington the property sits on its own over 6 acres plot, the kennel constructions are wooden and under 6ft in height the enclosures/runs are metal and either heras fencing or kennel run fencing and are 6ft high
The property cannot really be seen from the road and the fields where the kennels back onto farm land
The property is not open to the general public and people can only meet the dogs once they have submitted an application and a successful homecheck has been carried out then they are invited to come and meet the dogs at a specific time and date
The dogs come to this address first so they can receive any medical treatment they may have and to receive their assessments, they need these before we can find a suitable foster or forever home
If you would like to send a letter or email in support of LBDR the following must be on all correspondence
